Engineering Capabilities

We love to be involved in R&D projects and this driving hub is destined for transmission in electric motors. A 1 off job from technical drawings and manufactured in EN36 for it's heat treatment properties, this part utilised the team's milling, turning and gear cutting expertise.

This was a lovely little 30 off job for a regular client in the Marine industry. Using processes such as gear cutting and turning and produced using EN24T steel for strength, these gears are part of a sun roof mechanism.

We are so proud of our experienced team of engineers. Amongst many other things our CNC Millers produce the highest quality products, either from drawings or reverse engineering. This is a Flamge, used in many industries including aviation and motorsports.

We recently created this diff output flange from a drawing for a car manufacturer. It is made from high performance alloy steel S155 and has been turned, splined, milled and heat treated. 

We recently engineered this spline for a well known boat company. We used stainless steel 17-4PH to create this part from drawings. 

Motion picture lenses and fibre optic systems are required to be precise and smooth. Van Diemen Optics design and manufacture high spec lenses and optic systems for broadcast television applications and their customers are incredibly particular.
